Peony Garden Scrappy Card

Hello my fellow stampers! I hope this Thursday finds you all well. Today's card is featuring the scrappy technique! I love the look of this technique. Such an easy way to create such a neat look that can be used with any paper. A great way to use up some of those scrap pieces you have been collecting! Simply cut your scraps at an angle, adhere to the cardstock and then trim down the edges that are hanging off.

With this card, I used Petal Pink cardstock as my base. I adhered the scrappy pieces, from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, to Basic Gray cardstock and then adhered that to a slightly larger piece of Basic Gray so that the gray showed around the edges. I used the Tasteful Labels die set to cut out the vellum piece and then the Basic Gray again to stamp my sentiment on. The sentiment I chose is from the Forever Fern (one of my favs!) stamp set and this was embossed in white. I used the Elegant Faceted Gems as a final touch around the sentiment.

Below you will find all the supplies I used for this card with a link that will take you to my online store. Have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping!
