Peony Garden DSP

 Hello friends and welcome to my blog! Hope these first few days of the new year are treating you well. Today's card features the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. This is unique in that the image on the paper is gray and white which gives you the ability to color it with any color you choose! I am going with the Petal Pink Stampin' Blends to color the flowers; however, you can go for a totally different look with this card just by switching up the color palette.

The base of the card is Basic Gray cardstock. The sentiment pieces were die cut using the Tasteful Labels dies in Smoky Slate and Petal Pink cardstock. The sentiment came from the Dragonfly Garden cling stamp set in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and was stamped in Basic Gray. I also added some Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon behind the sentiment piece (using Stampin' Seal or double sided sticky tape) and a few of the Elegant Faceted Gems to the front. I then attached the sentiment piece to the card with dimensionals. I really love the look of this card and am excited to try out some other colors combos with this paper!
