Stampin' Kabin: Forever in Gold

Hello fellow stampers and Happy Tuesday! Hope today's blog finds you all well. So, I received my first Gold Foil sheets and had to try it out on the Forever Fern bundle. When I first opened the Gold Foil sheets, I was in awe at how perfect and shiny they were. A huge improvement from whatever brand I was using in the past. Definitely need to put the other foil sheet colors on my list to get!

For this card, I used the following ingredients:

Whisper White Cardstock for the base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and some for the die cut pieces
Gold Foil Sheet - one 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece and then some for the die cut pieces
Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 4 1/4 x 2 1/4
Forever Fern Bundle
Tasteful Labels Dies
Old Olive Stampin' Pad
Adhesive
Die cut machine

I stamped the green splatter from the Forever Fern stamp set in Old Olive to the white card base. I then die cut the gold and white pieces from the Forever Fern Die set. Stamped the image of the leaves onto the two white pieces in Old Olive. Before adhering to the card, it helps to lay everything out to get an idea of where you want the pieces. I then glued the die cut leaves and branches down. Adhere your DSP piece to the 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 gold piece and then glue that down in the middle of the card. Using the Tasteful Labels dies, cut out the larger circle in gold and the smaller in Whisper White. Stamp the sentiment on to the white in Old Olive. Glue this piece to the gold circle and then adhere to middle of DSP piece. I also added the gold die cut piece from the Forever Fern die set to the bottom of the sentiment piece. Really love the look of all this shiny gold!
